GreenHaven Studios - The Business of Being Green
As a Green company, we employ Green practices in the products we make and in our business activities.
- Our products are made in the USA – locally. Less carbon emissions used to ship products from overseas and supporting “Green Collar” jobs.
- Our sustainable hardwoods are naturally “green”, and any plywood we use contains soy-based adhesives - not glues that contain formaldehyde.
- Our finishes are all Low VOC (Volatile Organic Compounds). You don’t have to sacrifice a beautiful finish just because you want to be kind to the environment. We offer a wide selection of color options to match any décor. Our finishing process is GREENGUARD Certified!
- We use a local freight service based in the Carolinas. We also “blanket wrap” our freight to eliminate excessive and wasteful packaging. This also enables us to inspect products immediately before shipping to our customers. It offers our customers the ability to view their product immediately – and no packaging to dispose of.
- Our marketing efforts are green as well. We use an eco-friendly binder, and our catalog is printed on FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) paper stock. We use this same paper stock in our customer contact pieces.
